Some projects stand out for more than the design itself. Anna and Jack’s wedding stationery and signage was one of those projects for me. Not only was it a joy to create for two people I love, it also became the project that gave me the confidence to finally launch my own business.
From the beginning, Anna and Jack wanted their wedding to feel modern, clean, and personal. Their venue, the beautiful Rancho Nicasio in Marin County, set the tone with its natural charm and warm setting. I wanted their stationery to reflect that balance of elegance and simplicity while still feeling elevated and intentional.
The invitation suite featured layered textures, thoughtful typography, and a clean layout that reflected their modern style. I focused on creating a cohesive design that felt timeless but fresh. Paper goods are more than an announcement, they are the first impression of the day and set the tone for the guest experience from the moment the envelope arrives.
For the wedding day itself, I extended those design choices into the signage. The welcome sign, seating chart, and bar menus echoed the same modern typography and layered look. Every guest touchpoint felt seamless and connected to the invitation suite. Stationery and signage are part of the environment, guiding guests and tying the design together.

On a personal level, this project meant more than checking boxes on a design list. Spending months dreaming up details with my cousin gave me the chance to pour extra care into every element. Seeing it all come to life on their wedding day was the moment I realized this was what I wanted to do. Not as a side project, but as the foundation of a business. Anna and Jack’s wedding suite was the push I needed to finally launch my own studio, and I’ll always look back on it as a turning point.
Designing stationery is always meaningful, but Anna and Jack’s wedding will always hold a special place for me. Their trust, their vision, and the creative freedom they gave me made the process as rewarding as the final result.
