The start of a new year always feels like a clean slate, and this one feels especially exciting. I’m kicking things off with my first published feature, and it captures the kind of work I want to create more of this year. I’m a wedding stationery designer in Sonoma County, and I create custom invitations and event signage for modern celebrations.
Real Weddings Magazine featured this styled shoot, and that felt like a big moment. Not because it’s flashy, but because it reflects where my design work is headed.
Bold color. Thoughtful details. Stationery that actually sets the tone.
This Mediterranean inspired styled shoot focused on color, texture, and intentional design. I wanted stationery that felt elevated and expressive while staying approachable and modern.
Each design choice shaped the overall tone of the shoot and showed how stationery can guide the guest experience from the very first impression.

I approached the design process for this styled shoot with balance in mind. Color led the direction, supported by clean typography and thoughtful composition. Layering added depth, while restraint kept the suite refined and cohesive.
I designed each piece to feel strong both in hand and on camera, which helped the stationery photograph beautifully while still feeling tactile and considered.

Although this was a styled shoot, the feature still felt meaningful. It represents the direction I’m moving toward and the type of work I want to continue creating.
This project reflects creative freedom, thoughtful design, and stationery that feels personal rather than expected. Those ideas continue to guide my approach.
As the year unfolds, I’m excited to design custom wedding stationery and event signage for celebrations in Sonoma County and beyond. I’m especially looking forward to working with couples who value intentional design and a strong visual story.
This feature feels like a meaningful marker at the start of the year, and I’m excited to see what comes next. You can view more custom wedding stationery and signage projects in my portfolio. Learn more about custom wedding stationery and event signage.
